Incredible nose and unique aromas, lots of mineralogy intermixed with amazing fruit textures. Like nothing I've ever experienced. What a beautiful Italian marvel!!

Drinking well after 1 hour decant. Black fruit with a spicy herbaceous finish. I would agree with prior reviewer that identified basil. Tanin structure remains intact which suguests this wine can be enjoyed over the next few years.

Paired very well with a pasta dish featuring fresh basil, tomatoes and thinly sliced garlic combined with olive oil. Gave it plenty of time to open. Would love to have a few more bottles.

nose: fig, black berries, black cherries, oak, light soy sauce. Taste: pork sausage, beef jerky sort of meaty taste. Plum, fig, raspberry. Some cherry drop in the end. I also get some warm spices. Dry and mid-full body and big flavor profile. Almost a little sweet bbq sauce going on? Get hint of basil. I find this to be enjoyable and interesting. Good tannin and light toasted oak. Maybe a hint of heat but perhaps it needs more air. Needs air.

Modern meets rustic - a nice mix of sheen and garrigue/earth. Definitely the type of wine that a wide variety of wine drinkers and lovers can enjoy. Give it some air for maximum enjoyment. Interested to see if the savory notes develop over the next few years.

Big and bold. Decent dark fruits at first, giving way to some herbal qualities. Also a lot of toughness - like dry leather, but hard to pin. Seemed a bit disjointed and unsure of itself, other than - BIG!

Strange wine - first it's like Ribena with alcohol and then after a while it begins to show an unusual charm, with hints of Mediterranean herbs (oregano, thyme, rosemary) and an enjoyable sweet spicininess (cloves, cinnamon), but overall this wine's identity is unclear to me.

Some bottle variation - this was a good one. Funky. Held up fine.

Decanted 1 hour. Didn't show well. Green and harsh, rough around the edges. Vinturi helped a little (always a last resort for me). Disappointing.
