GRAPE VARIETIES: 50% SYRAH, 50% MERLOT ALCOHOL BY VOLUME: 13%
Appearance: clear, medium(+) ruby. Clean nose of medium(+) intensity, developing. Aroma characteristics: red- and black fruit (raspberry, cherry, black plum) with marked pungent spice (black pepper) and very subtle, oak-related hints of sweet-spice and kernel (cinnamon, vanilla, coffee). Dry on the palate with medium(+) level of acidity and medium(+) level of chewy tannin. Medium alcohol, medium-bodied. Medium(+) intensity. Aroma characteristics are repeated on the palate. Medium(+) length.
Very nice. Easy to drink, yet showing some depth and complexity. Beaujolais (raspberry, pepper, moderate weight) meets Bordeaux merlot (plum, coffee). Ready to drink, but will keep. 90/100
