Served multiple bottles at a large party. I was quite surprised by the intial taste. A little more complex than what I expected for the price. A little too much alcohol on the finish, but really great taste for the price. I'll go back for more.

Nose: Some berry Color: Bad lighting but it appears to have a purplish tinge Taste: Moderate mouth feel with moderate fruit. A pleasant wine that I would drink again, but not as special or unique as David Bruce's

July Wine Tasting, 17 wines, Crystal Lake, IL (NW Suburbs Chicago, Crystal Lake, IL): Tough to beat for the price. Nice fruit flavors with a surprising degree of complexity and depth. Mid-bodied pinot with lots of flair for a $10 wine.

A quality Pinot at a great price. Will probably track down some more to have as an everyday drinker.

Nice pinot. Displaying the typical SLH spicy fruit profile. A touch of heat, but overall a nice wine.
