A nose of some fruit and spice, garnet in color. A medium bodied red, with blackberry, plum, with a spiced finish, was so much better than last time tried one year ago, a good QPR www.winelx.com

C: Ruby N: Plum, smoke, hint of tobacco P: Primary with abundant (but not OTT) fruit (plum, cranberry). Not as dark and brooding as many Argentinian malbecs. This has bright notes on the palate. F: Medium
Silky smooth on the palate. Simple, but well made and enjoyable.

Deep ruby color. Nose of plums and soil, the latter seeming to come out more with air exposure. Medium bodied and suave on the palate, with silky smooth tannins, and overall just a very smooth, fruit-forward (plum primarily, but some red fruit coming through as well), and lighter framed malbec. Medium- finish. Not much in the way of secondary characteristics, and while this is enjoyable enough, I'm a little surprised by the WL promotion. Don't get me wrong; this is undoubtedly a crowd-pleaser. At $6-8, I'd back the truck up for party wine. At $12, it's still solid, but I'm not falling over myself for it, and I know some Spanish party reds just as good in this style at <$10. This is not really my style for everyday personal consumption, but that's in no way a dig. Just to reiterate, the masses will love this.

Was looking for inexpensive reds. this was OK but will not be going back for this - others in price range more to my liking.

Tremendous bang for the buck, nice fruit forward approach, good balance and structured finish.

A nose of some fruit and spice, garnet in color. A medium bodied red, with blackberry, plum, found it a bit thin, average at best.
