Great value Bordeaux blend out of Coonawarra in sub-$20 category. Predominantly merlot at roughly 50% with cab sav and cab franc making up the difference. Smooth and elegant. Blackcurrant and some smokiness on the finish

A spicy nose of ripe blackberry and eucalyptus which works really well with the rich oak. The palette has some well-represented acidity and finishes with some grippy, but subdued tannins and a hint of sour cherry. Not complex by any means, but very well executed.

A deep red in colour with a youthful purple around the rim, the wine is a Merlot dominant blend (53%) with the balance being Cabernet Sauvignon (37%) and Cabernet Franc (10%).
The nose shows good varietal expression of blackberry fruit, with an enjoyable balance between dense dark fruits and coffee oak characters on the palate.
The tannins are fine but drying and there is a solid backbone of acidity that will soften as the wine ages.
It is not often you will get a wine that is sub $20 with excellent cellaring potential, but this is certainly an example. Review Link - www.winereviewer.com.au (drink from 2015-2028)

Probably 3-4 years past its best year, but some interesting fruit and a nice finish. Should have opened it earlier !

well balanced but lacking in fruit. Don't think it's got too many years left

Black currant, mocha with dark fruit, merlot clearly dominating, fine tannins with a lingering finish.
