Pretty nose of red fruits and spices. Classic Burgundy in the mouth, crystalline red fruits, baking spice and earth. Good amount of acid and structure, I’ll give my next bottle a good decant or wait another 5 years.

Balance of tart and ripe plum/berry fruit, nice graphite note (I don’t know what else to call it, but I like it and I don’t think it is reduction…). As other tasters have noted, tannins are soft-to-minimal. Easy to like and approachable right now. A tasty gateway glass for the Burg-curious. Drink up.

Very pretty strawberry and raspberry on the nose on opening, then darkened in the fruit profile. On the palate, tannins completely resolved. No real tertiary development. V nice

Popped and decanted. Took initial taste as it came up from cellar temperature. This tasting done after about 40 minutes post-decant.
Clear and bright wine. Ruby with some bricking. Looks its age, maybe older.
Nose, though, is fairly youthful with red fruit, bay leaf, menthol, hint of barnyard funk.
On palate, wine is sound. Solid acid core makes me think this could last for longer. Tannins soft but still present. Leather, cherry, hint of smoke. Delicate, like the flavors are gently hung on the acidic backbone.
Overall this is an excellent wine! Really enjoying this. Could age for longer but it is drinking very well now.

The color of the wine is beginning to shift leaving the bright ruby behind. However it is the only thing revealing its age. The nose is amazing with small red berries as the primary. It fills out the mouth but leaves fresh sparks on the tongue. Drink or keep

A bit tight and takes a good bit of decanting to extract all this beauty has to offer, elegant, subtle and delicate notes of red berry, sandy soil, spice notes, quite light in the mouth but the texture and flavour delivers throughout

2010 should be mandatory for all who like wine. This is a wonderful example from an excellent producer using grapes from one of the best Volnay clos.

Cherry nose, hint of oak; light, subtle, fruit-full, pure, lacy, long finish

Needs time, but is certainly drinkable. Lots of fruit.
