  • A statement Meursault representative of an iconic vintage. Despite it taking a moment to open up aromatically, once it did, we were drawn in by a tertiary nose of oak and cedar wood. Much to our surprise, though, fruit began to make its way into the mix as amongst those earthy scents arose notes of ripe peach and green apple. The palate was complex, drinking far younger than the age of the bottle, with a rich fruitiness that opened up with notes of stone fruit, oak and hints of pepper, creating a very classic Meursault feel to it. A delight to begin dinner with. Can age for even longer.
