"Entrada vineyard". Medium yellow. More oak, toasted nuts, brown butter and orchard fruit nose. Lighter body than 2011 - closer to Côte d'Or feel. Pretty long finish. 50% new French oak.

This seemed much heavier than the first time I tried it at the tasting room. It's very flavorful with great depth, lots of honeysuckle, and some oak. The first two glasses were really wonderful, but palate fatigue set in and the last glass was just difficult to choke down -- the flavors were overwhelming and I just couldn't enjoy it.

Not a traditional Chardonnay. Loved this bottle.

Honeysuckle and oak on the nose. Very heavy oak overwhelmed faint pear, honeysuckle.

Similar to previous note. Fairly mutes nose and oak dominates and the fruit is lacking. Not my style of chard

$40. Made in a leaner, more acidic style, but still good weight and full flavors. I really enjoy this style of chard.
