Cooler climate, 30% malolactic. A sharp acidity. Clean and bracing but with a lovely brown butter and caramel aspect. A high mid-palate stoniness on the finish.

Shows more acidity than the Starr Ridge Chardonnay did, but still too much oak on the nose. In the mouth, good green apple fruit and strong acidity, but still also falls a touch flabby on the finish. B+
