With Pork Chop....still showing very primary but nice. Nose fairly closed, dark fruited and cherry lead. 2nd hour- nose coming alive and Blood orange on palate. Will wait on my last bottle until 2024+

Have had numerous Foley wines, first time trying his Pinot. Quite ripe & extracted (as anticipated). Great nose, albeit not very complex, and a rich velvety palate, but with some tartness on the finish that was persistent. Works better with food than on its own.

My wife and I are fans of Foley's wines, and this was our first time trying the pinot. Bright purple in color and bold as compared to those from Oregon. Not a bad wine overall, but we will stick with his other offerings next time.

The first couple of times I opened these I wasn't crazy about the wine. Now it's improved greatly. A wonderful nose and great finish. Very good, especially for a Carneros Pinot which is usually not my preference. Glad I have more of it and glad Bob is making Pinot!

Initially I thought Foley making Pinot? I absolutely have to say that this wine is better now than I last tasted it; and that i am totally impressed with the precision, minerality and complexity of this wine!

Medium body. Nice nose of sweet cherry and herbs that carried over to a delicate palate that was run over a bit by a 2010 Penner Ash, which had more complexity. Disappointed given others reviews.

Better than I remember the first time I had it, a little barnyard, dark fruits, licorice, rhubarb, candied strawberry on the nose, palate follows nose, medium finish, well balanced, low tannins

WCC California Pinot Noir Blind Tasting II (Milestone Restaurant, Glenmont, NY): Bright purple. Fragrant nose of allspice and cherries. Thick with bright raspberry fruit. Soft tannins, lovely.

Was the "hit" of the evening of several nice wines. A Pinot with structure that drinks well now.

Truly fantastic. A Pinot with structure, fruit and depth. Popped and poured. This is a big wine lovers Pinot.
