This was the second oldest wine consumed at a large family Thanksgiving. It was superb. Sadly, it was somewhat overshadowed by being drunk right after a magnificent 2006 Fisher Lamb Cab Sauv. The CF had some richer flavors, such as anise, which some tasters found off-putting. To be fair, the mature CF might not have been the best pick to go with the traditional turkey dinner. It did benefit from being opened a couple hours before drinking, though, and for those of us who like CF, we REALLY enjoyed this one.
