Second Sunday Group: Douro reds (Frank's): Tasted double blind. Pale color. Initial note of citrus blossom and apple with a waxy undertone. Quickly fades and shows alcohol and bitter almond. The palate is thin and acidic and ends with a bitter note as well. No guess.

This might be the best Michigan white wine I have ever had. It was a hit with all who drank it. Light straw in color with a nose of cut grass and floral. Well balanced and light-medium bodied. Had some citrus but finishes long with mineral and floral. Not much fruit which is a very good thing.

Light straw colour, totally normal. Fermented and aged in stainless steel. The flavour is stronger than expected, at least at first, and reasonably pleasant. It is faithful to the grape. Totally dry. The bottle cost $13.50. Overall impression: Good (84.5).

Fantastic michigan white. This was so good it could have been mistaken for a rhone valley all star. Beautiful balance of oak and fruit. Excellent.

On the nose there is pear, honeysuckle, and slight mineral. The palate is earthy with notes of apple, oak, and pear. Good wine.

Great wine with light seafood dishes! A masculine fruity flavor with apple and mellon on the nose and tongue. Buy again!

Love this. Complex and interesting, with good body and plenty of acidity and even some spice. Wish we had more.
