A ripe Chardonnay with oak barrel elevage from California, and a damn tasty one at that. You know that sweet graham cracker smell you can get from an empty glass? This wine gives that right off the nose along with nectarines, flowers, lemon-butter, and sesame seed. The palate is predictably rich with a nice polished stone element and a layered mouthfeel that keeps the wine from being heavy even though the medium-long finish ends on a nutty-sweet oak note that some will find tiring.

Had this with roast chicken, roasted egglplant and onion, and a romaine lettuce salad with shaved Comte cheese and a dijon mustard vinaigrette. Great flavor, very well balanced. I could have drunk the entire bottle, but I shared with my wife and nephew. If anything was wrong with this wine, it might be that it lacked a bit of acidity. The chicken was rich and juicy, and it didn't seem to cut through it the way I had hoped. However, it was really a superb wine.

Faded fruit. Past prime. Too bad.

Had several of these last night at the vinyl/wine tasting party. Exceptional minerality and fruit balance. Outstanding for an American Chard.

Beautiful nose, nice floral, a little butter, but not overwhelming.

Again we really enjoyed it. Floral nose and not too much butter. Layers of light fruit - paired with halibut.

We *really* enjoyed this one so I'm giving it 94 points. Not too much butter but layers and layers of flavours.

Drank w/ Monica; asparagus and mushroom risotto
Much oakier than I remember in the tasting room. A little overwhelming
