Light yellow with a hint of green in color, this wine, a blend of Viognier and Roussanne, showed classic Viognier notes of white peach and honeysuckle. The mouth feel brought more white peach and a hint of oiliness and waxiness. The finish brought more bright fruit but also some bitterness.
I love the aromatics of well made wine with Viognier as the main grape. At $20US, this wine is in the right direction for my palate. If only I could remove the oily/waxy elements...
