From an excellent looking bottle, this wine had a gold center and clear rims. The medium+ intensity nose put forth dried apricot, pear, minerals, and some mazipan.
In the mouth, this wine was clearly quite rich and ripe and had close to Beerenauslese weight. It had Spatlese level crisp acidity so I guess they averaged it out to Auslese. This wine had great intensity and persistence.
Will this wine was just a touch monolithic, it was very attractive. It seemed full mature to me so drink up!

VEO tasting - Moselle, Saar and Ruwer (Restaurant Bolenius, Amsterdam): Auction. Very elegant and precise, green apple, peach, lemon, wonderful ripeness and energy, mature, shows the warmth of the vintage, wax, excellent length.
