  • Tasted blind. Bing cherry, sappy exotic, loamy earth, structured finish. A wound up delicious ball of energy. I enjoyed it very much.

Very expressive nose of red and dark fruit, spices and a slight earthy feel to it. Nice balance on the palate with gorgeous fruit, some power, the tannins and the finale is still grippy and very Pommard like but with some freshness, class and nice length.

  • cherry red. initial funk blows off quickly. nose of cherries, wood spice, and a hint of evergreen. the palate shows primarily red fruit, spice, with a savory, tannic structure but the wine finishes with red fruits and flowers. look forward to seeing where this heads in the coming years.

  • From the Petits Epenots. Full, intransparent cherry red. In the nose very complex, very hard to grasp, however rather direct. There's a lot in the background that doesn't show. There's some bread crust, some sweet cherry. On the palate equally complex with fine acidity, very deep and long. Great potential, currently quite difficult. +
