Last bottle of a case of 12. Lost most of its fruit & tannic structure. Softer mouthfeel, but more prunes & raisins with some dark berry flavors - although less prominent. Past its prime for sure.

Agree it is at end of drinking window. Tannins are completely resolved, leaving a bit lack of structure. Fruit is still there, and slightly sweet like a late harvest. Still good, but not likely to get any better.

Started tight. Opened up nicely. Drank over the course of 4 hours. Peaked at about two hour mark. Really nice. Typical Peju...solid, dependable and enjoyable.

Event - Celebration - B-day 2017 (Rancho San Diego, CA): Nice wine, consistent experience, would buy again. May be at or very near peak. 66 pct cab, rest petit Verdot, Syrah, merlot. Berry, cherry, vanilla, some tobacco and earthiness in bouquet. Same in taste, with a little pepper. Nice smooth finish. Nice with pairing of variety of cheeses and meats. One of better Cabs tasted throughout the Napa Valley - initially tasted at Peju Winery on Napa trip in 2009 (even though had a bad experience with Peju staff). Drank this bottle for birthday celebration.

Brick red color, very deep garnet. Rich secondary fruit, prunes and dried cherry. Tannins are smooth, but full and provide great balance against the fruit. This wine is drinking great right now - I've had four bottles in the past two months. I'd recommend drinking from now to two years from now. The tannins will hold this wine up for at least four more years, but the fruit is good right now.

Consumed over two days. PnP'd day 1, really opened up day 2 - taste dark fruit flavors with a medium finish. Peju Cabs, always enjoyable -with a great QPR.

Discalimer: I really enoy Peju cabs, like their style Tannins have mellowed over the past year and this bottle was great when the cork was popped. It only got better over the next couple of hours. A very nice and well balanced wine.

Dark purple in the glass. Nose of mocha and dark fruit. A very good wine but not up to Peju's 2007 bottling. Give it another 12-24 months to smooth out as it's still rather tannic right now.

Funny as I also had at Keens last night -- agreed on it being a good pick there. Really enjoyed the drink, very smooth and a nice overall feel. Had years ago at the winery and am glad I came back to the well

At Keen's with their famous mutton chop. Pleasure but not mindless pleasure: it's very fruit forward with an almost sweet finish, soft tannins, cassis and blackberry on the palate with a bit of leather and smoked meat, long finish. $48 on the menu and very good QPR, it's hard to find under$35 in the shops.

Tour - Napa 2012; 11/16/2012-11/19/2012 (Napa, CA): 66 pct cab, rest petit Verdot, Syrah, merlot. Berry, cherry, vanilla, some tobacco and earthiness in bouquet. Same in taste, with a little pepper. Nice smooth finish. One of better Cabs tasted throughout the Napa Valley. Will allow to age a little more. Tasted at Peju Winery on Napa trip. Experience with the tasting at the winery was bad. The winery employee who poured for us was just trying to sell wine - was rude, arrogant, not helpful, just a salesman. Almost asked for a refund for the bad tasting experience.

Dusty tannins, dark fruit flavors - enjoyed without decanting. Only one bottle left in cellar. Drink soon 1-2 years max..

PnP'd- still lots of fruit on the nose & palate. Easy drinking. Note to self - consume last 2 bottles over the next 2-3 years.

Still retaining great complexity, fruitiness and acidity. the tannins are hanging in well. This wine could age another 3 - 5 years.

Fruitful, ok finish - could be smoother/more silky. Medium body. Overall enjoyable bottle of wine. Paired well with Filet Mignon.
