Clear, deep dark purple showing very little signs of age.
Nose is clean with blackberries, mint, eucalyptus, white pepper and cloves
Full bodied, medium plus tannin, medium acid. Taste is similar to the nose. Add some bitter dark chocolate, American oak presence, with a long blackcurrent, blueberry finish.
Finish is medium plus. Tasting very young for an 8 year old. Still a good few years till peaking. Good representation of a classic Barossa GSM blend.

Nose of blueberry pie with vanilla and toasted white bread. Mouth is full with a medium-quick explosion of blueberry with a little blood orangey-type citrus notes. Quickly transitions to a pleasant bloom of heat in the back of the tongue and into the belly. Hopefully with age, some longer earth notes will balance out the finish and really frame out the wine. But all around quite drinkable.

- Garnet color - Big hitting GSM from one of my favourite producers. The epic 2010 vintage shines in all its glory, with that old vine shiraz turning this wine into something rating well above its price tag. Brooding dark cherry interwined with bright and lush rasberry notes. The finish a little off the mark, but pleasant and complex all the same. Mssing that Turkey Flat nose that knocks your socks off, but an honest and powerful blend that i'll be back for in years to come.

- Crimsom color and aromas of cloves, strawberry and cabbage. It's balanced and has flavours of licorice anise and cedar with a light/medium body. Smooth texture with a medium finish.

This is quite hard to drink upon first opening, but it opens up over a few hours with the bottle opened. Vanilla, blueberry, cassis, maybe some violet and with some heat on the nose. The palate has more dark berries, sour cherry, grippy tannin with a long finish. Decant.

Nicely balanced, hints of tobacco on the finish. Has always been a great Aussie Rhone.

Some redcurrants and spice on the nose. Intense dark cherry and raspberry fruit, black pepper, cocoa and a quite hot finish.

Didn't take detailed notes. But was nice; jammy fruit, heat, smooth finish. Good value too.
