very Bordeaux like, if tasted blind, would guessed so. medium bodied and had a good fruit content but not too much, acidity gets better after 30mins, tannins soft but towards end of 2 hours, more noticable.

the nose is very plummy and smells like black berry and green pepper at the open. somehow it smells very similar to the red from southern france. after 15 mins, some nose of fragrance evolves. the palate is ok, with slightly spicy and tiny sandy tannins (this wine can be aged for 3~5 more years, i think). it has good acidity and a cherry and mineral aftertaste.

-- bottle was open for two days at time of tasting -- -- tasted a single pour non-blind at the winery over approx. 5 minutes -- -- 45% Tinta Roriz, 40% Touriga Nacional, 15% Touriga Franca --
Violet-garnet color. Nose was spicy with rich red fruits. On the palate, this was spicy – stems? – and somewhat lean/green; hint of leather; tannic; needs more acidity; 14% alc.; long finish of medium-light intensity.

Another Douro red with a fairly recognisable profile - inky nose with some indistinct red fruits. Big fruit flavours, some restraint, some tannin. Not jammy but a bit international in style. Youthful.

Dark fruits, violet flowers, espresso & herbs. Nice balanced acidity. Long finish. Ready to drink.
