Medium ruby red; mild nose of red fruits and a little herbal note; tart cherry, gooseberry, plum flavors; very light on the palate probably due to acidity, elegant impression; a refreshing light red that would be good with fish as well as quiche or other lunch like meal

Nice understated mature minor burgundy. Palate is bright and gains depth and length with a few minutes of air. Delicate. Struggled to keep up with hanger steak but was nice with the veg and alone. Liked this more than the score will show. Drink over the next few years. 89-90.

Having a lot of trouble describing this wine. The nose is very fragrant, sometimes it seems to smell of raisins and pastries, other times it smells of something like fried zucchini. On the palate it's very fruity, mostly raspberries, though it has some salty notes as well. The color is a nice red with some bricking on the rim, and the legs are long. I mostly enjoyed this wine but it didn't wow me.

lightish scarlet crimson. Quite a bit tight and sharp at first, but opens up to some nice red fruit. Not the most elegant wine, but I like it. Would certainly pick up a few more and enjoy over the next few years, but may certainly hold longer.

Not a light or particularly elegant pinot, but this delivers rich fruit and nice depth of flavor. Similar flavor profile to many cali pinots but without the often accompanying heaviness and heat. Excellent, and very good value at $27.

Opened 30 minutes before tasting, still way too tight, woke up at about the hour mark. Nice, Burgundian typicity all around. Thin, but youthfully bold in color. Nose of red fruit, pepper, licorice, violets, wet earth. Very good to the taste, if not overly complex: gently puckery wild strawberry, a whisper of blackberry and caramel, ending with white pepper and lightly herbaceous notes. Medium finish, with just a tiny hint of fine tannins. Unsurprisingly, it was just amazing when paired with food, went wonderfully with an Alsatian mushroom tart. Pretty good value, I'd gladly buy more. Should last nicely in the cellar, but I don't get enough structure to think it'll be all that much better in the future.

Better than I expected. Red fruits and violets on the nose, good daily drinker.

decent example fruit of citrus (orange?) decent depth, bit muddy not quite standard Burgundy fare.

Not the most elegant wine, but a nice, fairly full, earthy, almost gamey Pinot. Definitely would hold off a bit

Absolutely delicious and a completely different experience than the bottle we had 3 months ago. Great example of serious bottle variation.
Great upfront fruit, spice and a dusty sort of texture as well. Great finish. Hard to believe this is the same wine.

Mothballs and dust. No depth. Another overrated Burgundy.
