  • Decanted off a small amount of sediment. Still fairly dark, but pomegranate red / dusty mulberry in colour with the start of some garnet at the rim. Meaty, savoury, darkly fruited nose. Muted blackberry, ink, eucalyptus, graphite and slate on the nose. Super smooth entry and then rich black currants and blackberries on the palate with secondary notes of light cedar, ink, mulch and some black tea-like tannins on the finish. Dry but not XD. Super smooth with a long finish. Lovely wine that has shed its puppy fat and is totally in the groove right now! Still has a few years ahead of it.

  • Slightly ruddy dark purple to the core. No rim variation, just a thinning. Medium full bodied. Quite fresh on the nose with black and red fruits, meat jus, cured tobacco and cedar. Fruit dominates. Spiced mullberries mostly. Quite juicy and full on the palate. Lots of dark fruit, leather and a hint of iron. Slightly off dry. Slightly tannic and tart on the medium long finish. Overall fully mature yet still fruity. Pretty well balanced.

  • No detailed TN. Similar to previous bottles. More Syrah style for sure than Shiraz. A nod to Northern Rhone in style. Quite pleasant and well made.
