Red Mountain really comes through in this Merlot like other varietals; more robust, greater depth and complexity than typical Walla Walla Merlots. Not that there is anything wrong with those Merlots, I love those too.

Needs time for sure, but I found it well structured and substantive as compared to over-extracted and hot; and, that awesome Tapteil terroir comes through nicely. It could be better with time.

Black preserves, long finish with lingering flavors, good acidity, soft tannins. Medium body. 14.5% ABV. Good QPR...great winery!
