Crimson red in the glass with smells of earth and pepper. Sweet and dry on the palate, mellow tannins, but a short finish. A somewhat bitter after taste.

Flight 2, Australia & New Zealand, Wine 6 (blind): The wine was medium ruby in colour and offered a meaty nose with aromas of blackberry, leather, spices and some pepper. On the palate the medium- to full-bodied wine showed plum, blackberry, raspberry, chocolate, spices, black pepper and liquorice, paired with medium-plus lively acidity, medium-level tannin and good length. The alcohol seemed a little out of balance. Drink now and over the next three years.

Almost translucent ruby red. Lovely perfume of herbs and peppercorns. Red berry fruits on the palate, with a nice crunchy texture and a long smooth spicy finish.

Almost alarmingly thin in look and mouth feel but the exact opposite in taste and nose. Full of flavour - rich and warm.

Solid but nothing special
Light in finish and lacked a little something. Not bad but not OMG material. One and three quarter Yums

Decent enough. Ripe fruit, with some earthy characteristics with air. Palate is somewhat grainy.
