Robe rouge moyen, nez sur la violette et la rose, bouche sur la rose , la violette et la viande, belle longueur, légère acidité. Un bon vin, à attendre 1 an.

A simple wine. fruit forward without any back end spice. Everybody at the table enjoyed it as it is easy to drink. Nothing to downgrade it except lack of complexity. Will buy more.

Just about perfect with a couple homemade pizzas. Didn't take notes or pay close attention; this seemed solid, but if it's exceptional that didn't jump out in casual drinking. I've more actively enjoyed dolcettos from Bruno Giacosa and Domenico Clerico; those were also older at the time, and looser; could be I prefer even my dolcetto a bit more mature than this.

This is a great dolcetto. The balance is impeccable. I opened this to go with a pasta dish using the last of my garden tomatoes. Wonderful dark fruit and great acidity with dark earth tones. No sweet oaky fruit which is the problem with most dolcetto. This was great. I am getting more!!

Cork was sort of pushed out so this bottle may not have given a fair shake. Good but one-dimensional. Definitely tart and pretty tannic. Had a savory zing underneath that, and was enjoyable. Nothing wrong with it for the money.

One of the most elegant dolcetto I had the pleasure to drink. Very dark, seems like it's going to be a massive and extracted wine based on the color but it's the total opposite. I like the nose with a great savory component (saucisson) and a touch of violet and old cedar wood. Dark cherry and cassis with a hint of plum. Also a charcoal like component. Very fresh on the palate with a cranberry like acidity lifting the wine. Nice wine.

Popped and poured. Aromas of dirt and cassis. Bright, tart flavors of strawberry and citrus with a hint of funk. Full, mouth puckering finish. A very fine expression of Dolcetto.

Deep purple in the glass - and looking highly extracted - but fresh, juicy, and round on the palate. Meaty dark red fruit with a bitter edge sweetens on the mid, and envelopes the finish with barnyard and soil. This is a very appealing Dolcetto, and a quintessential food wine. Almost perfect with stuffed green bell peppers, the bitter notes in total harmony, and revealing the underlying cherry sweetness of the wine.

Really liked this tonight. Fruity, tart, a little tannic, not overwhelming, nice to drink. Sort of nicely herbal finish. Very drinkable.

A little thin and loose. Better values out there in my opinion for the money.

Vin bu trop jeune : l'acidité se fait trop sentir mais on sent qu'il y a du potentiel

Cherry nose, woody cherry and bright red fruit taste. Short finish but in balance. Nice and simple.
