We bought this bottle at a local shop but first experienced the winery in Florence at the Frescobaldi restaurant we had an awesome time there and would love to go back some time.
The wine is nice for the price point. Dark fruit, a bit of blackberry. Nice mouth feel and good finish.
Edit: did not try it on the second night it was opened but on the third night it was a little better.

Medium ruby with purple glimmers in glass. Bright cherry on nose. Balanced, minerally palate with black cherry and underlying herbs. Drying tannins for complexity. A lot of wine for the money. Drnk soon.

Tasty. Berries and red fruits. Briny. Paired with spaghetti and meatballs and bruschetta. Okay with the food. Would buy again for a decent, very serviceable table wine.

Forget about it. For the money ($10) this wine rocks. The wine does not have a tremendous amount of body (maybe because it was aged in steel tanks and not barrels), but I tasted some red fruit and hints of perfume. The balance is fantastic.

A blend of Sangiovese (90%) and Merlot (10%). Aged for 6 months in stainless steel with micro-oxygenation.
Lightly translucent ruby red color. Classic Tuscan aromas of sour cherries and loamy soil, but after only a short while, alcohol (14%) starts to cut through, making the nose appear somewhat boozy. The wine feels medium-bodied, dry and pretty straightforward on the palate with quite one-dimensional flavors of sour cherries, some sweet plummy fruit and a little smoky earth. The acidity is pretty high, typical for a Chianti, and the acidity feels pretty low but also quite youthful and grippy. The finish is quite thin with earthy flavors, some tart red berries and surprisingly warm and alcohol-driven.
I'm not convinced. You can easily notice that this is a Chianti (or at least a Tuscan Sangiovese) but there is very little of anything besides that; this wine is simple even by entry-level Chianti standards. Furthermore, the alcohol level feels all too high compared to the rather light and simple fruit department, making the wine too warm and boozy. Serving the wine a bit chilled might help pushing the alcohol a bit down, but I doubt that won't help much as the wine is quite simple and uninteresting as a whole. Overall this wine feels pretty much a rip-off at 10,99€.

(14%) 90% Sangiovese, 10% Merlot – This wine seemed non-descript until day #3 when it finally showed up with tight, wound fruit over a savory core. Even though this was $20 marked down to $10 I’m not sure I’ll buy again. Likely because I don’t want to have to pull the cork three days before drinking…

Dark red. Nose with liquorice and sour cherries. Sour cherries again along with tannins dominate the palate. Rough but has a certain freshness and along with food it's not bad at all.

There's a hint of rose petal on the nose which is refreshing. Still holding on though the window may be closing. Go ahead and drink-up.

Solid entry-level Chianti, just as it should be. Fine compliment to a red sauce.

Much better balanced than last 2 Chiantis I tried, good with mikes capellini with homemade tomato/onion/basil sauce.
