As expected, it was over the hill. Initially for about 15 minutes after opening, you could get cedar and red fruit on the nose, then it started to fall apart. The wine had a definitive tired taste, especially on the finish. (NR)

Tried this thinking it was over-the-hill but was pleasantly surprised. Full-bodied nose with cedar, spice. Bright, ruby color. Smooth, moderate complexity. Medium finish of fruit and spice.

We let this one sit for about an hour after opening and were greeted by a nice light fruit flavor. Not a real complex flavor but very enjoyable. The finish was moderate. Nice value wine.

Riverview Tasting (Post Oak Lodge (Tulsa, OK)): Shoot me, I like this wine! A rich plummy nose, with sweet cherry and toasty oak notes. Nice structure and backbone, a mix of good dark fruit flavors (mostly plum), and a decent finish. Good QPR.

Aerated and in the proper glass it is a very nice merlot for the price.

A nice everyday Merlot, always consistent but nothing special.

Nice and fruity, lots of strawberry, red berry fruit. Great for a not-too-expesive wine. My favorite merlot so far in the price range.
