Nyårsafton hos P+H med C+H+I (Södermalm (P+H)): (Disgorged in July 2017, 70% Pinot Noir and 30% Chardonnay, dosage 6 gr/l) Lovely yellow colour with endless streams of fine bubbles slowly rising in the glass. Lovely maturing nose showing lime flowers, hazelnut, mineral and raspberries at first and opens up with baked bread and raspberries in a delicious way. Intense fruitful palate showing lime citrus acidity and filled with red raspberry sweetness and leaving a lovely saltiness on the lips in a delicious way. (Best 2021-2036)

Man this bottle grew on me for 2 hours. Luscious is the name of the game. Enjoyed with grilled oysters. Wowzers. Nice red fruit all the way. Taut. Chalky, and complete. No need to rush drinking this bottle. Delish.

Paul Bara Dinner (La Bocca, Stockholm): (Disgorged in spring of 2017) Nose showing apple fruity sweetness and a hint of cloudberries. Lovely acidic palate with a spicy note of ginger and a nice long finish showing lime and ginger. This is very nice, but different compared to other Special Clubs from Paul Bara. Lovely elegant creaminess and very youthful and need time to evolve. Lovely salitness in the finish.

Quite light in colour, this felt very Pinot Noir dominated with bold and red apple against citrus streaks; some pastry showed through but this was mainly dominated by the creamy richness of the fruit - felt pretty 2006 but certainly well balanced. No shame to drink now, maybe better here or in 10 years rather than in between? ***1/2++

Really nice nose of brioche, lemon curd, and cream that carried through on the palate w/ some green apple notes. Very fine perlage. Lovely stuff!

Special Club 1979 - 2006: Ripe, juicy, plush, ready to drink and probably without a great future potential.
