Opened for a few hours before tasting by class. Good red and dark fruit on the nose and palate. Very silky on the palate. This one is more masculine than the charmes. 91-92

La Paulee de NY - Verticals Tasting (Rainbow Room - NYC): tasted at large walkaround tasting. from magnum. powerful and ripe, with lots of tannin. black and red fruit. missing some complexity, but assume it will come with time. long finish.

La Paulée de New York: Vertical Tasting (Rainbow Room - New York NY): Tasting, brief note. Magnum. Very large scaled, ripe black fruit that somehow seems both fat and brooding at the same time. This is very concentrated and very length, which gives me confidence in its potential, but this needs time to soften and integrate. Very good+ potential.

The Verticals at La Paulée 2017 (The Rainbow Room, New York): Magnum. Deep ruby. Earth and citrus. Full, woody, and round. Spicy dark red fruit, good acidity, very little soil, ripe tannins, citric finish. Strikingly different, modern, extracted style. I would have pegged this as New World wine.

Rather common. Lacks the excitement one would expect from a wine of this vineyard. not worth the money

Tasting of 6 Gevrey Chambertin grand cru vineyards, brought by YM, dark, meaty, masculine, sexy in a tarty way, delicious, love Perrot Minot

Perrot-Minot provning med Christophe P-M #7:
Vinmakarens ord: open, density, concentration, aromatic, good for lengthy cellaring but drinkable now as well. Harvest 5/9
creamy nose with herbs, soil, smoke, dust, liqueur chocolate, dark violet, raisins and punch. Clearly stands out in style.
Clean and cool mouthfeel, fresh with Christmas spices, orange zest. Early maturity notes. 92p

La Paulée Verticals Tasting (Rainbow Room NYC): Did not care for this at all. Doesn't taste like a Burgundy. After tasting this, I didn't both tasting the 2011 or the 2010.

Palais de Congres: Des Grands Vins de Bourgogne (Beaune): Good dry spice notes with ripe red fruits; just a hint of stem. Too young, need to try after wine has settled down a bit. 90-91
