Often 'buyer's remorse' sets in at auction once my reserve bid is hit on random mixed lots... Again? Well... Yes! Rare (none besides mine) on Cellartracker, no clue what to expect. How about something that approached vintage Salon? Maybe. Wheat, toast, honey, succulent fruit... Incredibly drinkable and no excessive aging clues. Quaffed the bottle so easily on Xmas eve... I can't wait to dig further into that mixed lot...

Heitz Martha's vertical 74-77 with an absolutely CURSED line up of chardonnay. (Major Domo): no more bubbles. Some acidity left, some bruised apple, but generally shot.

Not a unicorn like the last one. Oxidized, still with a slight bit of bubbles. Fruit however is still there- mature apple and a few citrus notes.
