Group consensus is this is terrific. Lots of fruit, but balanced with great spice and pepper. This is a classic Paso zin very big with a long spicy finish.

One of TJ's best zins, this one's dark and nearly opaque in glass, with rich blackberry pie aromas that carry to palate in waves of black fruit, vanilla and cream, framed with sweet tannins. Long finish.

Horrid. Flailing. Did not age well. Syrupy, soupy mess.

The higher alcohol content was noticeable.

Dependable. That's what I have learned through the last 10 years. Tobin's wines are always tasty.

Over ripe, bordering on a dessert wine. Worked okay with barbecued sauced chicken but I would expect tons more for $55 retail.

Big, black fruit forward zin. Black berry, raspberry jam and vanilla prep the palate for a high alcohol finish. Nothing subtle about this wine.

- Purple color and aromas of raisin and prune. It's somewhat balanced and has flavours of blackberry and cherry with a medium/full body.

One of the better zin's by far. Lush, bold fruit with a vanilla finish. Paired with pasta marinara.

Good juice with Italian food (lasagna or even a pastrami sandwich).

jammy, some cherry, huge wine. Paired pretty well with smoked turkey, would have been better with beef
