Delicious dark plummy fruits on the nose, with hints of vanilla spice, leather and red liquorice. Rich and seamless palate, dark fruits, dusty cedary oak and boysenberry jam. Drinking beautifully and felt that it had longer to go yet.

This wine drinks the way dry Port would...if such an animal existed. Rich, vibrant, inky, cinnamon, incense, cedar, and sandalwood. Bold, bracing, and structured. Chewy finish.

Two hour decant which did not cut down on the tannins, they actually increased as it breathed. Very dark in the glass, the nose was strong with blueberry and cedar, not too alcoholic. The palate is dominated by the tannins, very grippy and almost too aggressive, the fruit, while clearly there, is overwhelmed. The aftertaste lingers a good 20 seconds, I had to wait until the tannins released their grip before I took the next sip. Overall a slightly jammy tannin explosion, actually reminded me of an Australian shiraz.

Decanter about an hour and a half. The nose is berry filled. There is a hint of cedar to the taste with floral and fruit mixed. It's pretty tannic and that rides the after taste a bit.

I wish I had something to add that hasn't been said, but I'm not that bright. The prior reviews cumulatively peg this wine. Moderately complex for a pure garnacha; great QPR.

This wine is an absolute mouthful. Deep, full and well-balanced, it has a combination of fruit and spice that gets better with every sip. The tannins are perfect, leaving a smooth, almost viscous finish that lingers. This is what you get if you want a $30-$40 bottle of wine but only have twenty bucks in your pocket. Buy it.

Typically dark, Spanish offering Lovely fruit and ripe tannins hit the palate and continue to fill the mouth. Great value. Contrast to the traditional garnacha style - riper, no oxidation, fruit forward, nice balance

Popped and poured, and drank over 3 hours. Raspberry, blueberry, mocha, vanilla, spice, and toasted almond on the nose and palate. Leads to a long, jammy finish. Full bodied. Fruit forward style, well made and good QPR.

Nothing but Grenache. Very fruity. Straight away. Not terribly complex, but highly enjoyable. A very good value at $12.95. I had this with some very spicey saufage and pasta. Stood up well.

Rather complex bouquet of kirsch, vanilla and garrigue and palate of vanilla and kirsch. Due to somewhat high alcohol content, tastes best if a bit cooler than room temperature. Likely to be a bit better in a year. Excellent quality to price ratio.

Came highly recommended at our local wine shop and did not disappoint. Low price point, great flavors and complexity. I got nice hints of caramel and vanilla.

Fairly light bodied. Some fruit. Served with smoked sausage on a bun - good choice. Also served with pork tenderloin in Asian marinade - this also worked quite well.
Buy again.

Rich vanilla and blackberries, rich, soft, plush and extracted; Good crowd pleaser for when that's all you want to do. Lots of fruit, lots of oak, and soft and tasty.

Clear, deep ruby colour with dense legs. Clean medium- intensity developing nose with aromas of very ripe cherries, very ripe plums and pyrazine. Dry, medium- somewhat flabby acidity, medium juicy tannins, medium balanced alcohol, medium body and medium intensity flavours of ripe cherries, ripe plums and pyrazine. Good quality wine, a bit heavy and flabby due to its lack of acidity and overripe flavours, simple and easy to drink. Drink now, but has potential for further ageing.

5/22/13--5/24/13. Nice minerality. Some fruit, but not overwhelming. Tailed off on the third night; probably better on the second night than the first, but very enjoyable both of those. 89--91 pts.

deep dark purple color suggests something more intense here and it delivers such; red and black cherry dominates the fruit profile which is also influenced by vanilla and toasty oak.

Really robust red. Rich dark color. Full nose with cherry and tobacco. Caramel notes when paired with cheese.
