Dinner at MingHin (Chicago, IL): This has seriously got to be one of the cleanest bottles of Breton I've had in a while. The fruit profile is about as generous as you'll see in the Loire, with some tart red fruits, and the green pepper herbaceousness seems to be dialled back here. The palate is clean, with the minerality and acidity more prominent. Ready now; there isn't too much tannin here.

Violine limpide, peu extrait.

Ok, this is maybe not a big wine, but I certainly like it's cool and lean style. It has a beautiful blue redish transparent color. The nose has typical cab franc markers such as green pepper, black currant and grass and also some meat. The palate is lean but full of fresh black currant, green pepper and some pencil. Best served cold, drinks we'll right now if decanted but could maybe use a few years in the cellar.

Mixed wines with Munskänkarna (Stockholm): Medium red, clear colour with some purple. Nose with a fruity cherry note, some manure, some herbs. Fruity palate, medium bodied, cherries, blackcurrants, rather tart, medium(+) tannins with some bite. Fresh style with the typical bite. Young, could benefit from 1-3 years of cellaring to get a bit more rounded, but doesn't strike me as a wine made for long-term cellaring. 85 p. To be frank, I found it a little simple for its price.

For à cab franc it was pretty nice, and would for sure be better with some ageing

Too green, better in warmer years. Quite typical though.
