Delicious red cherries and mineral notes on the expressive nose evolving wonderfully on the layered palate and long finish. Continues to drink beautifully!

Corked. Blind I guessed a NSG 2011 Burgundy. Great acid and well-contained 13.1% alcohol.
After time some carbonic ish cherry comes out. It's a beautiful floral and carbonic nose - partial whole cluster? Beautiful almost herbal green tea stem you notes. Excellent finish - satiny low tannins. Fresh wet leaves. This is really great even with the slight TCA.

At first showed green notes on the nose, but quickly faded to gorgeous red cherry and berry notes, so seductive. Beautiful red fruit textured palate, hints of gen and stem next cell balanced. Definitely on the more savory spectrum of CA Pinot, great with the crab cakes I served tonight.
More than two years after our last note: this is one of our favorite bottlings from this fine house. Earthy, almost dusty; mineral. Restrained in the sense of not being obvious or overdone in any way; and yet full of savory essences. We got no cola (and were happy for that). Lovely over three nights, developing complexity along the way.

A beautiful wine. Medium red purple with a rotty nose, in a good way. Light scent of raspberries and that is the dominant flavor, too. A bit of mint as well.
Opened at a Valentines party, it was the first bottle gone on the Pinot table. In a year that was terrible right down the west coast this was a treat. Great with the crab cakes and the cayenne cashews, even stood up to the paprika meatballs. Not a jammy type of Pinot, very pleasant.

Bright, beautifully balanced -- a totally lovely example of what Anderson valley Pinot can be. This wine, like so many others from this producer, is so good, it makes us overlook the winery's recently announced policy of charging a fee for those of us who live nearby and enjoy picking up our orders on site (and having a taste). Boo to the pick up fee, but bravo the wines.

Earth, cola, cherry, pomegranate, rose on the nose. High tannins for a Pinot. Full body, high acidity, medium alcohol (13.1%), long finish. Starts soft and round, but finishes with a bang! Gorgeous wine!

Spicy aromas of cardamom, juniper and cumin dominate the nose, but after a little while in a decanter plum blossom notes are detectable. The palate is stocked full of tannins coupled with flavors of black cherry cream cola and ripe pomegranate.

Whew this baby needs time. Had this at a tasting at the winery. Loved it but don't even think of opening for at least two or three years. Dark and beautiful and the only wine in the lineup to make my mouth pucker just a tad. Giving extra points on anticipated awesomeness.

Super primary. This thing hasn't aged a day. Pure focused red fruits. Mild tannins. Feels like this thing could last forever.
