Interesting evolution: right after opening it tastes much like a new-world syrah, very ripe with dark fruit, vanilla, oak, spice. Then, after about an hour or so, it becomes more old-world, with garrigue, rosemary, thime, and fresher fruit flavours.

PNP into Zalto Burgundy glass (“Fruit” day): Medium ruby with garnet hues.
Quite a luxurious bouquet of red cherry fruits, spices. Not very Syrah without much earthy / floral notes here but a good nose no less.
Fully bodied than the Cabernet, more plush and powdery on the tannin structure.
Not exactly very Syrah so to speak but still a good cuvee for sure. 93 points.

Integrated, drink now. Slight barnyard, menthol and iron on the nose, fine tannins, mushroomy black cherries on the palate. Pretty long finish.

Wonderful harmony, velvet tannins but quite low acidity... that bottle would hardly improve so need to drink the other ones soon

The WOTN - but also the odd bird - in a blind tasting with two wines based on Nebbiolo and two wines based on Sangiovese.

good stuff. Worth seeing out at the right price. A nice Tuscan version of a Syrah. Not overoaked.

very nice. Spice, earth, sweet fruits, a bit of oak but not too much.
