Next to the 11 Dutton Goldfield, Dutton Ranch. The Merryvale seems more the low cholesterol style. Lime fruit, bright and clove aromas. I was not expecting this to be this good. And a great pairing with roasted sweet soup.

BTG. Very good consistent with the previous Merryvale Chardonnays enjoyed in the past. Prototypical CA style: big, buttery, lime, pear, and vanilla aromas and flavors. Solid and very well done

Very creamy texture with a lot of oak present at the moment. This is a young beast, that I think will develope into a beatifull wine. There is a lot of fruit to balance the oak, so for me the heavy oak is ok. Serve it blind and cold...
