Vintage 2011, 3 golds in 2012, being drunk in 2016. It's a bit tired now. The nose is light on, but still a bit hot, some blue fruits and cola nuts and fresh leather. Palate is light, bony almost, red and blue fruits, touch of earth, touch of mint, no tannins, sour finish, fades away on the back palate.

2013 Sydney Royal Wine Show - Exhibitor's Tasting & Trophy Wines Lunch (homebush & Darling Harbour): [Silver medal] {screwcap, 14%} Surely if anyone could make something of the soggy 2011 vintage in McLaren Vale, it would be Rosemount? Well, ... not really. This has a chocolatey nose, followed by a plummily-sweet palate. Medium gritty tannins and a heavily-macerated fruit quality mark this out as something made in the winery, not the vineyard. It’s medium-full bodied, but in a rather hollow and artificial way, and with a rather short finish, more so given the typical asking price for the wine. A silver medal was generous I reckon.

8/6/2014 - BritinNY Does not like this wine:
Opened it and decided not to drink as definitely past it's best. Had turned sour and not worth drinking. My bad for not opening sooner.
