Tried at the Grape Killers event on Dec 2nd at Guardian Cellars, The wine was brought out for the event only and will be put away until Feb 2011. My notes got wet from the rain, but what I can remember and decipher is that the nose was delicous; black cherry, plum, anise, spice, toast and coffee aromas. The palate was still a tiny bit tight (maybe why its a Feb release) bit still a good drinking wine with a medium body, balanced flavors and layered, black cherry, plum, red berry and toast. I let mine sit for a few minutes and brought in some air and every sip was better than the last. I can see why the 07 sold out in 5 weeks, very nice wine.
