As most '11 Burgundy's this is not what it can be. Nose with fruit and some spice. Palate is fresh but lacking complexity. What remains is nice fresh red Burgundy. Which is not the same as a 1er cru Chambolle.

Opened 3 bottles in the last 2 weeks and all bottles were consistent. Great wine after a few moments in the carafe. Rich. Dark fruits. Not especially long but not bad nonetheless. Well made. In a blind tasting, I could almost say Pinot from from outside the hexagone. 90-92pts

2011s from Lucien Le Moine with Mounir Saouma (Flying Elk, Stockholm): Rather discrete nose with cherries, some spice, noticeable minerality with a certain “tough stoniness” that I consider typical for 2011. Palate with cherries, noticeable minerality, high acidity, and a slightly tough style. A very mineral-dominated wine, comes across as quite young, 90 p?

Medium red. Red fruit nose. This is aromatic in nose and mouth. Beautiful. No sensation of tannin in these wines.
This year 5 to 7 litres of heavy lees in each barrel. 2011 was more chaptalized than any year since 1995. Have very recently added 10 ppm sulphur for first time

Vin I Nord Fine Wine Fall BYO; 10/28/2017-10/29/2017 (Tord Marius): Dark fruit, spice and candy. Modern expression with few and well-integrated tannins. Acidic. Opposite to the opening the wine finishes with sour berries like red currants.
