Incredibly dark color, a nice nutty funk to it - drinks almost like a light sherry. Really enjoyable, and amazingly still good after over a week in the fridge.

This was a blend of 1968 and 1969. The cork was in reasonable nick and the wine still had some vitality. There's custard apple, decaying leaves, onion skin, mushroom and toast to the aroma. The palate is a bit cheesy and relatively thin through the mid. It has tart citrus rind things and something mildly exotic. Just a curio but interesting to try.

Sattes Messing. Toller Duft, einnehmend, atlantische Kiefer, Kräuter, Bienenwachs, darunter leicht vanillierte Butter, am Gaumen rund, reif, reich. Etwas Säure, Zitrone. Echt irre, über 40 Jahre auf der Flasche!

A rare NV Pavillon blanc. Judging from the bottle shape, this was probably from the 40ies or 50ies. Port, manzanilla, cidre, still drinking surprisingly well.

Interesting wine, deep honey color, has some good old funk and a medium finish.

Very interesting nose, but the palate was rather muted. But really intoxicating nose..
The vintage was no longer readable but the owner bought it in the 50-60’s..
