Perhaps a little past peak, the bilberry/cassis fruit has faded a little and there is not much interesting development otherwise. Still a very solid ripe and smooth bordeaux made from Petit Verdot in the €10 category.

Dark and brooding Bordeaux, bramble and spices, nicely balanced with just 12.5% alcohol and good acidity and some tannic bite. May still improve over the next several years. Excellent value at 10 euro.

This unique wine is produced with the highest percentage of Petit Verdot in Bordeaux, with more than 54% in the blend, and is packed with spicy, fresh red berries. 87-89 Pts
