I’ve seen bottle variation here so my rating is shrouded in perplexity. From the good bottles I’ve had, the wine is exquisite. Like a marriage of aged Pinot Noir and the best of Alto Piemonte. From the not good bottles, the wine comes off as baked and oxidized. I have 4 bottles left… hoping I have 4 good ones!

Wine Cellar Spain (Wine Cellar): A deep and intense ruby colour. Pronounced aromas of warmed black fruits, raisins, violet, yellow peach and Christmas cake. The entry is quite port-like, with a full body and a hint of VA (volatile acidity). Quite a Monastrell note with notes of damson, dried earth and light orange peel all underpinned by a fresh acidity and minerally edge (more towards Priorat). Some spicy elements and a touch of stems?

Extremely acidic and incredibly confected. Obviously wrong.
