This is in a great spot right now; The nose has billowing aromatics of dried red fruits, forest floor and baking spice, while the palate still has impressive concentration, with plenty of grip on the finish suggesting this has life ahead; I'm continually impressed by the ageability of Kalin's wines

Tasting of 4 Red Burgundy and 4 California Pinot Noir. Had a sweet, sweat sock nose that never blew off, it was sweet, rich, bacon mouth that suggests a better future. Sixth place, group #6.

Astonishing, possibly immortal. Good fruit, shows as barely middle-aged. Loooooooong finish.
