Not from my owc. A friend generously opened it. A clearly advanced bottle but still drinking well as a mid-90s Burgundy. Quite nutty and caramelized. Drank like a mid-90s Comte Lafon Meursault.

From an owc. It took a good 2.5 hours for the wine to blossom. Lemon curd, breeze, seashell, stone fruit, tropical, light herbs and perfume. Palate was precise but also intense with a long finish. More like a Puligny grand cru than a Chablis, like many Raveneau with age. Easily 20-30 years ahead of it. 93++

Light gold, perfect shape, aromatic with hay, apricot pit, apple skin, lovely character, excellent balance, medium acidity with good lift, some nice earthy components, long finish. Wow. Majordomo.

Phenomenal. For my palate, Raveneau with some age has a certain muskiness to it, and this was here in spades. Layers of flavors here -- crisp citrus fruit, bright acidity, salty rocks, some floral notes. Love it.

Stellar showing. Perfect bottle that was deep, alive and layered. Wonderful iodine and crab shells gave way to secondary notes of mushroom and broth. Pristine and outclassing younger chablis grand cru at the table. My final bottle. Drink and savor if you have them.

Very dirty, earthy nose lemon oil. Quite tart with a hint of sherry. Nice sweet sour quality. Lemon finish, my guess is this was a big wine, but now maybe just slightly a bit oxidized. 92

Powerful mineral nose that hangs in the nostrils for many seconds. A little bit of musty funk and vegetation. Showed the age beautifully. Very buttery taste, melts in your mouth with great acidity. Would compare the taste to a cote de beaune white and the nose to a chablis. Incredibly long finish that sings; a magical Chablis experience. 97+

"Champagne, Chablis and a Touch of Red" Dinner (HIX Oyster and Chophouse, London): Wine shows that green lemon yellow color (not bad for 13 year old chables!!!wow!!!) this again still had a bit of mineral ocean nose (i guess some would call it beachy sulfur) really fresh clean and bright in the mouth. citrus and lemon but in a lovely fresh way. this wine had length and stayed fresh through dinner. very much enjoyed this and imagine this wine has 5+ years left on it easily

Full yellow color. Nose dominated by sea breeze and spiritous high tones-this is not primarily about the fruit! Light bodied and lemony with acidity that is bracing but not over the top; what amazing power, chalky intensity, and reverberation in the mouth for its weight, reminiscent of great red Burgundy in this respect. Like a tightly compressed spring waiting to uncoil, this only hinted at some butter, honey and any secondary development at the very end of its time with us at the table. A lean, long distance runner, this is just wonderful, old fashioned "vrai Chablis". Tremendous bottle now but this could easily last for another decade.

It really needs air (1-2 hours) to blossom and thrives with food but it has loads of acidity and drive and it’s completely delicious.

This bottle was much fresher than the one from a few weeks ago. Classic Chablis stony, but lightish weight, persistence. Very quietly fantastic.

A gorgeous wine with oodles of class but lacking the vivacity and punch of a great wine.

Friday after Thanksgiving (FAT) (Palm Beach Gardens FL): Tasting, brief note. Starting to show show mature elements on nose and palate. Lemon with some pear throughout. Medium intensity and nuance, somewhat earthy.

Friday after Thanksgiving II (Palm Beach Gardens, FL): Very raw at this stage. Chalky, with more restrained citrus notes barely coming through. All structural.
