  • The most friendly of the lineage in recent memory. Plush but not too soft, clean, floral, red berries with blue berry hints. A wine of the people but not dumb. Dives a touch on the finish. Drink to late 2014.

  • Deep crimson purple-red. Nose of fresh cherries, musk of tobacco in combination with plum, lined with a bouquet of floral scent. Light & sweet on the initial, quickly developing firm dusty tannins, a big full-bodied wine that generously coats the palate. Fine, powdery mouthfeel, smooth transition, leading to a nice, long, firmly tannic finish. A big & delicious wine, lacking a level of finesse due to an overwhelmingly powerful character. Could do with a couple more years of cellaring; a fabulous wine nontheless.
