Dark, with some seriously funky Asian spices, sandalwood, eucalyptus, blueberries, black cherries, and a distinct salinity. Powerful. Syrup of blueberries and a bracing backbone of salinity. Loses the spice notes of the nose behind the dark fruit. Jaw popping intensity of flavor. Powerful dark fruit notes echo through the finish with a smouldered earth and eucalyptus note.
Interesting and still incredibly primary. I can’t wait to see how this evolved into day two, and what if anything emerges from the depths.

Heaviest sediment I've seen in a wine bottle. Did not seem very developed - even when strained (7 complete cleanouts of strainer). Somewhat thick, syrupy and didn't have a typical taste profile of PS. Not bad, just not all that good either

Blackberry jam, dark fruits and a very vibrant finish. Decanted for 2 hours and it continued to evolve over the next couple of hours. Try the next one post 2019.

Deep purple, completely opaque, zero sediment. Nothing shy about this bottle. Pretty much what you'd expect from Turley+petite Syrah. Lots of blackberry and raspberry fruit, lots of pepper, and lots of chewy, puckery tannins to round things out. I'm generally a fan of drinking Turleys quite young, but this one I'd make an exception for. Except that I didn't. There's always next year...

Love this bottle. Full of juicy, rich black raspberry fruit, with thirst quenching acidity. Very rustic, and as to be expected with a young petite, this has incredible tannic traction and length. Most remarkable for its prominent peppercorn notes weaving their way through the fruit and nose from start to finish. I'd been cutting back on my PETS orders, but this bottle has convinced me to find space and more occasions to enjoy these wines. This is one of the most pleasurable, and consistent producers in my cellar.

Tight, focused, young. Didn't decant and it didn't really open up too much after the first hour. Will try this again in a couple more years.
