I'm out of my comfort zone with Chablis but am pretty sure that this entry level wine is performing as expected and my observations are in line with previous reviews (old as they are). Color is only medium light yellow, was expecting perhaps just half a shade darker. Nose tells you it's perhaps a bit past it's peak but definitely still drinkable: some brioche, butter, roasted almonds - more elements I'd associate with a new world Chardonnay (Kistler comes to mind). Finish is a bit uneven, with a bit too much green apple acidity combining with some oak that feels a bit stale/faded and astringent. Still, a fairly nice bottle, especially given the price. But I should've have aged it, clearly it didn't improve.

Agree with all the previous notes. There's both a racy nerve and some body to this. Very clean and honest and good value. But very young wine. I like this producer.
(second day, this was less fun and for me this pushed the score down a few notches...)

Three 2012 Chablis from Patrick Piuze (Grappe, Stockholm): Nose with green apple, some yellow apple and citrus, slightly flowery with hyacinths. Very dry on the palate, green apple, grapefruit and other citrus fruits, rather good concentration, high acidity. Rather young, approachable now, 88 p. Quite good and surprisingly flowery for a village-level Chablis, and very citrus-dominated.

Dégustation Bourguignonne du 23 octobre 2013: Jolie bouche assez simple, de la fraicheur, des arômes de pommes, bien fait. Un vin franc de goût, agréable, fort honnête à 23.75$ 86 pts

Really nice. Very mineral with a hint of oyster (or maybe just a little bit reduced). Lemony, touch of apple. Great acidity and energy, med body. Textbook Chablis.

Delicious young Chablis. Not the most mineral expression and lacks depth, but it is nonetheless a perfect summer porch sipping wine. Enjoy it young.
