  • Still going strong, starting to develop some more subtle secondary flavours, burnt caramel and thyme, dark fruit still there but not as dominant, Xmas cake and cinnamon, tannins in nice balance now, sweet oak ever present. Definitely got another 5 years of interesting development ahead.

  • Loved this wine. Big and full, syrupy, but not overly so. Very Australian but with a slightly softer touch. No stewed fruits/plum, which I like. Dark fruits, a nice acidic bite, and tannic but balanced. Cannot really see this as a long term wine so good to go now. Only odd issue.....more sediment in this wine (at only 5 yrs) than any other wine I have ever seen. Excellent QPR at US$35 or so.

  • Big, syrupy, heavily oaked style, but with substantial fruit, dark berries, chocolate, toffee, luscious mouthfeel. Tannins well controlled, will improve with at least another 5 years in the cellar. Excellent value at $30 (AUD) per bottle.
