Dark fruit and leather on the nose. Very full mouthfeel with moderate tannins, not unlike a good Grenache or a light Cabernet. Nice fruit and structure, and a very long finish. Quite excellent.

Cherry nose , followed by a wonderful layering of fruit, tannins and earth on the front of the mouth followed by raspberries, earth and a bit of smoke. This is a layered, rich wine with a great mouth feel and a long lingering finish. A distinctive Oregon Pinot, this is excellent.

2 Days in the Valley- Day 1 (Willamette Valley, OR): Nose: There are some oak tones right off the bat along with tones of dark red cherries, wood spices, and dark berry tones. Nice depth, but the oak is there, though not too much.
Taste: Medium/full bodies with Medium+ acidity. The structure is noticeable with some good tannins a well. There are very nice tones of dark berries, some oak, and wood spices.
Overall: While there is some oak on this, it feels like the kind that will absorb down the road. This is a more robust wine that does need some time to round into form.
