Deep amber colour, sweet Apple and botrytis nose, tooth rottingly sweet apples, spice clove, strong botrytis flavours and drying slightly tannic finish. A bit of a curio.

{375ml, screwcap, 10%} Deep orange/tawny. Some aging evident; lots of intense caramel and apricot botrytis aromas leap up. The palate is immensely sweet; a bit monochromatic in its apricot and honey flavours; but has just enough acid to give it another few years of satisfaction. But it’s definitely not a keeper.

Francesca's Birthday Celebration 2014 (Sentosa Resort and Spa): Appearance is clear, medium intensity, gold colour. Thick legs. Nose is clean, pronounced intensity, with aromas of petroleum, sweet glue, apricots, orange marmalade. Developing. On the palate, sweet, medium+ acidity, low alcohol (10%), full body. Pronounced flavour intensity, with flavours of petroleum, sweet glue, apricots, orange marmalade. Botrytis character. Medium+ finish. Good quality. Acidity could be better. Alcohol level much better/lower than the 2010 vintage.

Mature, but so much life, great acidity and deep and complex. This is such a great QPR

Like a Beerenauslese, just from Australia. This is actually maturing quite well with some years ahead of it. Great QPR

Surprisingly good, great balance and quite high acidity. Loved it!

Deep amber. Quite sweet, orange marmalade not cloying. Straightforward, perhaps lacking a bit of acidity.

A lovely, quite light, honey and tropical fruits. Served cellar cold with Cornish Cruncher.
