  • Tasted blind. Very green on the nose, peppery leaves and lawn cuttings, not much fruit, just oak and savory aromas, wet earth. Big, brash palate, with plenty of acidity to bounce off the licquorice fruit. Finishes well, good length, and plenty of oaky structure. Took ages to come around and shed that green character but when it did after about an hour in the glass, dear me, it tasted like one of the better Cru Bourgeois'. Excellent stuff considering the price tag.

  • Very good and very Bordeaux-like. A fantastic value at $17 at Systemet in Sweden, one of few wines that is cheaper in here than in other countries.
